Participants will learn how to knit a cowl while mastering several basic stitches. Methods include learning how to cast on a project, read a pattern. In addition participants will learn how to knit a garter stitch, stockinette stitch, ribbed stitch, basket weave stitch, and the smooth sand stitch while also learning how to finish the project.

This class is an advanced beginner class and participants should know how to knit and purl.

This class will enhance beginner skills by creating a sampler quilt of 9 blocks using a variety of methods. This beginner friendly class is taught over the course of four weeks. Participants of this class will finish nine 12 inch blocks that can be made into a 41x41finished sampler quilt.
