Introduction to the machine applique using the Lori Holt Technique Saturday, October 19 10am-3pm



In this class participants will learn how to use the Lori Holt Pie Ruler to make a dresden-style block using the Lori Holt applique method. The 18inch block can be used to make a pillow, table runner, etc.   


Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: This class is for participants who have had some experience quilting or with machine applique who would like to learn a new technique.
Requirements: Participants are required to purchase pillow kit which includes the Pie Ruler, circular template and fabrics needed to complete the 18 inch block. Additional tools needed: Lori Holt Interfacing, a hera marker, scissors, a neutral thread, marking pen, water soluble glue, a heavy weight needle and an open toed foot for your sewing machine. Additional materials are available for purchase in store. Students should also plan to bring their sewing machines.
